After three weeks of travelling throughout Costa Rica my wife and I spent a week at the Buena Vista. We were welcomed like family and staff ( Coco – Harlem- Olger –Chris – Darwin ) were extremely helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed all the sights and communities - farm markets, volcanoes, farms, gardens and zoos as well as just exploring the countryside in the Central Valley. The view from the hotel was spectacular. Great Tropical breakfast .There are not many road signs in Costa Rica but it was easy to find the Hotel Buena Vista with numeous signs around town and on local roads. My husband and children have just returned from a week-long vacation in Costa Rica. We cannot say enough about the level of hospitality and the standards as a whole during our stay at Hotel Buena Vista in Alajuela. Max, Jose, Christian and the rest of the friendly staff made every effort to make our stay more than we could have hoped for. We were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our holiday; the rooms were exceptionally comfortable and clean, the pool was quiet and well -maintained, the site as a whole was very clean and the staff were excellent - friendly, welcoming and attentive. We have been recommending Buena Vista to all our family and friends and we hope to return soon. Many thanks ~

What a lovely hotel you have, and what a nice stay we had for our afternoon
and overnight with you! The hotel was charming, the food (and wine!)
delicious, and all at such a reasonable cost. But most of all we wanted to
comment on the professionalism, charm and helpfulness of everyone we met at
Buena Vista. What a wonderful staff. This was our first trip to Costa
Rica, and you are all wonderful ambassadors for your beautiful country.
